Our Elopement Package is perfect for couples who are looking for a wedding day experience that is simple, yet beautiful and meaningful. A maximum of seven guests may be invited to attend, and that may include two adult witnesses to sign the marriage license. We can provide witnesses if necessary, as well as other Add-on Options.
We have made special arrangements with the Botanical Gardens at Asheville to hold Elopements for no more than 10 people (7 guests).
This beautiful outdoor nature setting offers numerous sites for your ceremony. You can get married in the middle of a mountain stream, in a meadow, on a bridge, or in a gazebo.
If you prefer the predictability of indoors, then we can perform your elopement at StudioWed in Asheville. StudioWed is a 100-yr old 3-story home which has been converted into a wedding showroom and meeting place. The home features several nicely decorated rooms with fireplaces which create the perfect cozy and intimate setting to get married.
This venue also serves as our Plan-B for the outdoor option in case of cold or wet weather.
Pick Your Own Venue
If you already have a venue for your elopement, or have something else in mind, we are happy to meet you there to perform the ceremony. Additional travel fees may apply depending on your choice of location.
Also Includes the Following
Beautiful Love-Centered Ceremony
You have your choice of a non-religious ceremony or a ceremony with a few religious elements (prayer, bible verse, blessing). Your beautiful and light-hearted 10-minute ceremony will focus on the true meaning of genuine love, and the special commitment that you are making to one another.
Officiating the Ceremony
You will be matched with a warm, professional Officiant who will meet you at your venue at the agreed-upon time. Your Officiant will assist in last minute preparations, convey a calm and confident energy, and perform the wedding ceremony of your dreams!
Communication and Correspondence
During the time leading up to your wedding day, we will stay in touch by emailing you next-steps, updates, and other helpful information. You will be able to correspond with your Officiant at any time via email and you will have an opportunity to connect over the phone prior to your ceremony.
Marriage License Filing
We will send you notifications and instructions so you know exactly when, where, and what to bring in order to get your Marriage License. You will both need to appear in person at the Register of Deeds office and pay them a $60 fee in order to acquire your license prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, your Officiant will make sure that the witnesses sign and fill in their information correctly, and then the Officiant will be responsible for submitting the license back to the Register of Deeds for processing.
